Science for Summer

Last Friday we sent our water sample back to Summer. Ngahere and Takutai loved collecting the water sample and having a conversation about why water is so important to us and all life.

  1. Kia ora Ngahere! Mīharo! I loved reading about your Science experimenting with water (wai). What is the main reason do you think, that water is so important to humans? What do you think the water samples will tell you?

    1. Kia ora Madeline!! It's Miro here. I think water's important because we drink it and that the water samples will help because then we can see which water is most safe to drink. Other than that, I don't know. Noho ora mai!!

  2. Kia ora Ngahere Tamariki,
My name is Tania and I am the Manaiakalani Outreach Facilitator who sets up Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu, our blogging programme. It's great to have your class on board this term. I live in Whangarei, which is a LONG way away from where you live in Greymouth. Have any of you ever heard of Whangarei or been to Whangarei. You could check it out on Google Maps and see how far away it is. I am looking forward to checking out your class blog this term and leaving comments for you. I might try hard to check out some of your individual blogs too. I hope you enjoy having another class to blog with from Kaitaia (that is even further away than me!). Have fun learning, creating and sharing!
    Ngā mihi
    Tania
