How my house is different compared to a Wharepuni
Walt compare my house to a Wharepuni.
The same: They both have shelter, They both have doors and windows
A Wharepuni is a place where Maoris seek shelter and sleep there.
Different: The roof goes right down to the ground, The design is completely different
Nice work Ngahere on sharing your work about houses. I learnt what a whare is and I like the way they are designed. I’m worried about the design, I could bump my head if I play underneath the roof. I learnt they have a big deck out the front. I like the beautiful patterns and calvings on the front. It’s a great design to keep us playing in the fresh air. Did you know that they have a fire in the back? Thank you sharing that post. I’ve learnt a lot from it.
